Combined puppies, manners and life skills
Our combined puppies, manners and life skills classes will help you and your dog develop the skills for living together in the family and in society. They are for all dogs.
The classes consist of six core behaviours:
Come
Look and Leave
On a Loose lead (walking)
Say Please (AKA Sit)
Every part of your body
Relaxation and Handling
We will teach you strategies that will help you manage your dogs. This includes but not limited to barking, destruction, meeting and greeting, managing children and dogs, dog body language, managing dogs’ anxiety levels, environmental enrichment and food guarding. We tailor this component to meet the needs of the group.
The Combined Puppies and Manners and Life Skills Classes consist of 6 lessons of approximately 45 minutes. Included in the course is 1 private lesson and an Introduction to Training. The Introduction to Training is necessary before group lessons.
We are happy to come to your place to do the Introduction To Training but do ask for a deposit of $50.00 which comes off the total cost of $150.
If you have to miss a class you can make it up the following week. The 6 lessons must be completed in a 3 month period.
You may start the class at anytime provided you have done the Introduction to Training.
