Puppy Classes
Our puppy classes aim to help you socialise your puppy so that s/he develops into a confident adult dog who is relaxed around people, strange things and strange sounds. The class consists of six core areas:

Your puppy will
- checkout our socialisation playground
- begin elementary training
- hear strange sounds
- be exposed to people doing strange things
- be handled and learn to relax
You will
- learn to prevent problems such as digging, puppy biting, jumping, resource guarding (protecting their food), barking and managing toilet training
- begin using positive reinforcement training with your puppy
For safety and individual development reasons there is no free puppy play in our classes.
Included in our package is a free 1 hour home consultation where we can advise you on any management issues that may be important for you and/or your family.
Puppy Classes are available for any puppy under 24 weeks. The course consists of 4 group lessons of approximately 45 minutes duration at a cost of $100. Included is a free 1 hour home consultation at a mutually agreed time within our service area.
From time to time we do not have enough puppies to run a separate puppy class. When this happens the puppies are combined with the Manners and Life Skills Class at a cost of $150 for a 7 week course. All aspects of the puppy class are incorporated into the combined class.
